Twenty-five teachers attended an advanced MST workshop at Moses Lake High School, Moses Lake, WA on April 4-5, 2003. 

The workshop was hosted by Kristin Beich and Rick Rosenow, MST teachers at Moses Lake High School.

Activities included:

• Anodizing titanium- key chains
• Muscle wire- simple machines
• Center punches- heat treating metals in the forge
• Glass fusing- intricate designs using glue, attaching wire hooks
• Slumping bottles
• Slumping glass into cookie cutter molds
• D&L foundry tour- cast iron, primarily make manhole covers
• Polymer glue testing with emphasis on experimental design
• Vacuum forming
• Glass etching
• Copper etching
• Polymer lip balm
